With an equivalent zoom range of 24-3000mm and an aperture range of f/2.8-8, you have everything from wide angle to incredible super-telephoto in one, easy-to-handle package. And if you want to get even closer, Dynamic Fine Zoom now increases the reach to an astonishing 6000mm equivalent.

Just as in the Nikon Coolpix P1000, the camera is driven by Nikon’s Expeed processor and has four stops of VR stabilisation so you can get sharp images of faraway subjects, even when handheld.

Improved flexibility in the Coolpix P1100 comes with the addition of USB-C charging, AF-area in birdwatching mode for better framing and a new optional remote control with two Fn buttons for more control when remote shooting.

The control ring can be used for fine manual focus or assigned to control exposure compensation, White Balance or ISO. Zoom control is via a button on the side of the lens and a new AF mode selector button allows focus mode switching while holding the camera.

The Coolpix P1100 has an f/2.8-8 aperture range

You can set the camera to record images as JPEG or RAW files for greater control in the edit, and 4K video recording is also supported, along with timelapse and superlapse modes, perfect for wildlife videos.

The vari-angle monitor and bright electronic viewfinder give you a clear and detailed view of your images, even at night. For amazing closeups of the moon, there is a specific moon mode.

And a new fireworks mode within the multiple exposure settings means you can capture really immersive scenes at a display without any blown-out highlights.

Accessories for the Nikon Coolpix P1100 include the new remote control and a dot sight, which allows you to easily follow moving subjects such as birds.
