A great working aperture range for a variety of different scenarios. Open at f/4, the NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ gives you good subject separation without blowing out the surrounding environment.

Lens construction: 18 elements in 13 groups

The NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ has been engineered specifically for video, creating a lens that gives superb resolution – enough for 8K shooting and cropping into 4K with great results. A close focus distance of 0.34m from 28-50mm and 0.52m at the telephoto end offers you lots of creative options and freedom.

NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZGo-to video power zoom

Zoom system: internal motor power zoom and hi-res zoom

The smooth, controllable power zoom in the NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ has 11 different speeds, ease-in and ease-out, plus the ability to extend the reach 2x to 270mm in 4K when using a Nikon Z8 or Z9 (1.4x with a Nikon Z6III).

Controls: Manual focus ring, zoom ring, zoom lever, L-Fn button, AF/MF switch

The first NIKKOR Z lens to have a zoom lever, the NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ also has a range of fully customisable controls so you can use the lens the way you need to.

Filter size: 95mm

Filters can be replaced without removing the lens hood, and an access slot in the hood can be positioned to the top or side, whatever your preference.

Coatings: Meso amorphous and fluorine

Meso amorphous coating on the lens significantly reduces unwanted ghosting and flares in bright light, while the fluorine coat on the front surface of the lens effectively repels dust, dirt, water droplets and grease, letting you easily wipe the lens clean.
